Retractable Cat Feather Teaser Wand (Extends 37 to 94cm)

A hunt with a full metre of wingspan

Some cats want prey on the ground. Most want it in the air. This teaser puts a feather lure on a 45 to 60cm rope at the end of a telescoping rod, so you can sweep, flick, and helicopter it around the room while your cat plots the takedown. When the session ends, the rod collapses to 37cm and disappears into a drawer.

What makes it good

  • Three-section telescopic rod extends from 37cm to 94cm, so the game can be gentle and close or a full-room chase.
  • Carbon fiber rod, light in your hand and quick to flick, with an EVA grip.
  • Feather lure on a 45 to 60cm rope, the flutter-and-dive movement cats cannot ignore.
  • Four handle colours: yellow, red, blue, or black.

The honest bit

Feather lures are consumables. A cat who catches this regularly (which is the point) will scruff it up over time, and that is a sign of a toy being used properly, not a defect. Put the wand away between sessions, both to keep the feathers alive longer and to keep the game special. Supervise play, since string toys are for playing together, not for leaving out.
